The gun has a 7.62X51 mm(.308 win) caliber. This model is the military and police version of the Remington 700, M24 being the model named assigned by the US Army when it was adopted as the official/standard sniper in 1988. Its adoption also saw the return of bolt action snipers by the US army.

A semi-automatic special action sniper rifle manufactured by Knight’s Armament Company and designed Eugene Stoner.  This US made sniper rifle  is a modern classic. The first deployment and use of the sniper rifle was by the US navy in Somalia 1993. It has the same caliber as M24 but at 4.88 Kg, it is far lighter. The SR-25 enhanced match rifle utilizes the newer URX II Picatinny-Weaver rail system, rather than the older Mk 11 free-floating RAS, on the top of the receiver to accept different scope mounts or a carrying handle with iron sights (front sight mounted on the rail located on the forward end of the non-modular handguard)

The legendary Enfield rifle. The older versions of the Enfield were inducted into the Royal Forces as early as 1890’s. L42A1 was introduced in 1970 and continued till 1990. Variants of the Enfield are still in service having successfully fought many wars.

Introduced in 1969 the sniper is still in use by the USA today. It was introduced in the Vietnam war as USA army required higher accuracy. It has a feed system of 5, 10 or 20-round detachable box magazine.

German are known for their manufacturing quality and this rifle does not disappoint. Made in 1972 by West Germany, it is still used by the German military. This rifle is known to have been developed in response to the Munich massacre at the 1972 Summer Olympics. It is said that West German police units could not engage the terrorists quickly enough to prevent them from killing their hostages. H&K was then commissioned to create a high accuracy, large magazine capacity, semi-automatic rifle for police and military use.
